Light and Easy.

Hello All! Today I'm going to keep things light. Basically, just float around with anything that pops into my big gourd. Let's start with the NFL playoffs. I was 1-3 with week 1 predictions, took off last week and should probably take off this week, but here we go.

New York Jets @ Indianapolis (-7 1/2) Sun. Jan. 24, 3:00 p.m. CBS
I'm still waiting for the NY Jets QB Sanchez to have his "Rookie" playoff game. The Jets defense has been outstanding. This week they get a QB who is arguably the best there has ever been. Peyton Manning has been known to dismantle blitzing defenses. I'm looking for a low scoring game, with Manning having enough to beat the surprising Jets. It could be a bit of blowout if Sanchez gets rattled. Prediction - Indy 24, NY Jets 16.

Minnesota Vikings @ New Orleans Saints (-3 1/2) Sun. Jan. 24, 6:40 p.m. FOX
Hopefully this game will mark the end of Brett Favre's career! He has been great, with this season possibly being his best. In my opinion he has ruined his legacy with his retire, unretire nonsense. It would not hurt my feelings if the Vikings lose, then Brett could take his enormous EGO and just go away. I'm hoping he puts on his Wrangler Jeans, jumps in his Jeep, and rides off into the mountains, to his cabin, where he can fish and hunt all day and then spend the night sitting between the campfire and the still. Hey Brett, your not bigger than the NFL. I'm hoping that the Saints can hang a big number on the tough Vikings defense. A Saints win would be good medicine for the people of New Orleans. Prediction - Drew Brees and the Saints multiple offensive stars Reggie Bush, Marquis Colston and others hit on all cylinders.
Saints 34 - Vikings 24. Thanks Brett, good bye and good luck in retirement.

Here's a couple of humorous lines for you.
- I work hard because millions of people on welfare depend on me.
- I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
- Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.
- Wrinkled was not one of the things I wanted to be when I grew up.
- My wife and I divorced over religious differences. She thought she was God and I didn't.
- Don't take life too seriously; no one gets out alive.
- Out of my mind. Back in 5 minutes.

I'm getting ready to head to Florida for the PGA trade show. Lori and I will be looking for new products for the Golf shops. The new products should be on the website in 2-3 weeks. You can find the new products at www.lorisgolfshoppe.com
Please send your opinions and comments along by clicking on the "comments" prompt at the end of the blog. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Good luck, God Bless, Sugar.
