Myrtle Beach, continued freeze.

The temperature here at the beach remains cold. The morning temps. (21 degrees) yesterday (1-6) were the same here, as they were in my Uncle Charlie's hometown, the big city of Milo, Maine. Population around 2,000 with 1 traffic light. With it being so cold there's not much going on for the locals. This is a good time for locals to act like tourists and take in a show. My favorite show is Le Grande Cirque, it plays at The Palace. Le Grande Cirque is a very entertaining circus, similar to Cirque de Soleil (on tv)."One" The Show is at the Alabama Theatre. "One", is a live singing and dancing show. I can attest that One is a fun show, Lori makes me go 3 times a year. My favorite part of the show is the comedian, Ricky Mokol (sp?), who gets things started. He is hilarious! If you've got a few hours to kill before your evening activities, why don't you check out Liberty Steakhouse and Brewery. Liberty is located on the south side of Broadway at the Beach. It's behind the visitors center. If you know where the M.B. Pelicans stadium is, it's on that side of Broadway. Large appetizers, a great happy hour and an in-house brewery. Before I retired from drinking, my favorite brew was the Raspberry Wheat. It's a great place to take your crew for dinner. Food's great. They also have a tap room, located on 79th ave. north, business 17. While your at the Steakhouse, ask for JT (mgr.), and tell him Sugar sent you. If you prefer T-Bonz fare, you can visit the T-Bonz on the north side of Broadway. You can ask for Bubs (mgr.). They'll treat you like a regular.
