Hello, well here we are. The 09-10 playoffs. Congratulations to those of you that get to pull/root for your teams this year. My team, The New York Giants are somewhere searching for their hearts, guts, and manhood. I'll get back to them later. I spent the 09-10 season researching stats, injuries, matchups, and weather factors. Got killed in fantasy, pools, parleys and even worse, lost to my wife. Not upset because I lost to a girl, but because she talks alot of smack. So I'm changing my format for my predictions. Just winging it, let's see how it goes.
New York Jets @ Cinncinnati Bengals (-2)
Sat. Jan. 9th, 4:30 p.m. ET NBC
Jets got in because Indy and Cincy both laid down. Don't believe me, just ask any Steeler fan. Prediction - Cinncinnati. I see Sanchez throwing at least 3 interceptions. He'll be a star someday, but it's not now. Cinncinnati wins 31-17
Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys (-4)
Sat. Jan. 9th, 8:00 p.m. ET NBC
Cowboys win the NFC east by pounding the Eagles 24-0 at Jerry Dome. Romo (no Jessica Simpson distraction) looked great and contiues his hot play. Prediction - I think Dallas will win, But being a Giants fan I cannot pick the Blue Star. Eagles Win 27-24
Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots (-4)
Sun. Jan.10th, 1:00 p.m. ET CBS
Baltimore gets in by beating an improving but still weak Oakland Raider team. New England loses Wes Walker, UH-OH. Prediction - Baltimore pounds the ground game and plays tough defense. Brady with 3 broken ribs and a broken finger on his throwing hand can't pull it off. (sorry Dad). Baltimore wins 23-20
Green Bay Packers @ Arizona Cardinals (-3)
Sun. Jan. 10th, 4:40 p.m. ET FOX
Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers pound Arizona week 17, Arizona starting Qb Kurt Warner sits out the game. Prediction - Green Bay wins. Steady Aaron Rodgers outduels the inconsistant Arizona Cardinals. Have your snacks ready as this should be a shootout. Green Bay wins 34-27
Standing on My Last Nerve.
If you missed my virgin blog yesterday, this is where I talk about things that get on my last nerve. Today it is the New York Giants. Not to be confused with the No Heart Giants, since they are one in the same. Our once feared defense now has no pride. Osi U. has been replaced by Osi who? The defensive backs collectively bring back memories of Elvis (Toast) Patterson. Affectionally named so because of how many times he got burnt. Head Coach Tom Coughlin has to go, as well as D coordinator Sheridan. Thanks for the Super Bowl win Tom. Good Luck, pack your bags and go. Bill Cowher will do just fine.
Hope all is well with you and yours, God Bless. Your lovingly dysfunctional blogger, Sugar.
